Would you like a reception hall steeped in history for your wedding in Mauritius? This authentic function room is steeped in history. It is the ideal place to celebrate a wedding or organise a conference.

The Domaine Saint Aubin restaurant has a capacity of 125 people, including tables and chairs, indoors and outdoors, depending on the set-up chosen. However, it is possible to accommodate up to 200 people by adding chairs for hire (at an additional cost).

If you wish to hire the Domaine Saint Aubin, there are two options. During the day, the restaurant costs 230 000 Rs for use from 9am to 5pm. For evening hire, from 5pm to midnight, the rate is Rs 74 750 Rs.

If you wish to extend the rental of the reception room in Mauritius, it is possible to reserve the domain until 5am. There is an additional charge of Rs 6,900 per hour.

For larger events, the estate (restaurant + garden) can accommodate a marquee or Bedouin tent. The cost is :

– Rs 172,500 / evening for less than 600 people,

– Rs 247,250 / evening for more than 600 people.

A few kilometers north of Souillac in the direction of Rivière des Anguilles is this very beautiful 19th century colonial residence. Original residence of the owners of the sugar plantation, it was built in 1819 near the factory, with wood from demolished ships. The staircase leading to the first floor was also arranged around a ship’s mast, and the framework of the attic is that of an old hull.

In 1970, and due to the noise pollution generated by an increasingly imposing sugar factory, the owners decided to rebuild the house a few hundred meters further on, on the site it occupies today.
